Led by graduates of specialized high schools and Ivy League universities in NYC, ITutorNYC tutors offer over 10 years of classroom experience, with a proven track record of helping students achieve high scores in SHSAT test prep, and New York State Common Core learning standards with an emphasis on math. Our tutor is a graduate of Staten Island Technical High School, and Columbia University in the City of New York.
Richard Park
Richard is the Director and co-founder of ITutorNYC. As a native New Yorker and the proud product of the public school system, he has extensive experience and knowledge of academic learning as it applies to Common Core State Standards. He is currently employed as a middle school math teacher at a NYC Public School where he teaches mathematics. Recognizing the importance of scholars growing up in a culturally sensitive and collaborative learning community, he is fully committed to ITutorNYC and extending academic learning to all.
Esther Chen
Esther Chen is a master theatre teacher based in New York who holds a Master of Arts degree in Educational Theatre from New York University. Coming from a family of educators in Taiwan, she has taught in Taiwan, New York, London, Paris, and Dublin over the past decade. Her teachings are heavily influenced by her training from Tisch School of the Arts and Michael Howard Studios Consevatory, from the teachings of her mentor Polina Klimovitskaya, and from her experiences working as an actor in the U. S.
